SHS - Sports Medicine

The Sports Medicine Clinic (SMC) is a specialty clinic available to all students at KU.

The clinic is staffed by a physician, nurse, and the physical therapy staff.

Problems evaluated in the SMC include sports injuries, car accidents, fall, trauma, and tendon or muscle overuse injuries.

The student health fee prepays visits in the Sports Medicine Clinic. Additional services and supplies (x-rays, laboratory work, braces, prescription medication, or rehabilitation equipment) are subject to a charge.
