SHS - Services Eligibility

Who can seek health services at Watkins Memorial Health Center?

• Urgent Care will be provided regardless of eligibility.
  
  
• All Currently Enrolled Students of:
• University of Kansas which includes:
  • Lawrence Campus
  • Edwards Campus*
  • KUMC in Kansas City*
• Baker University*


*Please NOTE: Students from Edwards or KUMC campuses will be required to pay the full Campus Health Fee (or its "remainder' if that applies). Baker students would be charged for services at the "Non-Health-Fee-paid' rate. If questions, please call our Business Office at 785-864-9520.



• Previously Enrolled Students are eligible for care for 6 months from the last date of attendance.
  
  
• Official Campus Guests and Visitors (including campers) will be seen for urgent medical needs only.
  
  
• Employees and Retires of the University of Kansas are entitled to use the pharmacy, laboratory, radiology, physical therapy, allergy and immunization/travel clinic with written order from an outside physician.
  
  
• Citizens of the Lawrence Community are entitled to use the immunization/travel clinic and physical therapy with written order from an outside physician.
  
  
• Spouses and/or Domestic Partners of students currently enrolled at the University of Kansas - Lawrence Campus.
